| Dewi was Joe's first show dog, and what a dog he turned out to be. Dewi was handled to his championship by Joe at a time when there were very few Welshie's in the show ring. It was not uncommon to drive 10 to 12 hours just to get to a show where there would be enough Welsh present for points, let alone enough Welsh present for a major win. This is a photo of Dewi being handled by Anne Savory (now Mrs. Anne Bolus) to one of his many group placement wins. Frozen semen storage having just been approved by the AKC we had Dewi's sperm collected and we still have enough in storage for at least one more Dewi breeding! |
